Will my order be confirmed?
After each order you will receive an order confirmation from us by e-mail.
Is it possible to place a second order on the same day?
This is of course possible, but please note that this order is considered a separate order, with the associated shipping costs.
Can I order a single bottle?
It is of course possible to order only one bottle. This will be sent in an appropriate (smaller) packaging / box.
Can I order different bottles in the order, or do they have to be of the same genre?
The bottles you order from us do not have to be of the same genre. You can make your own choice and compose your order. With a total order from € 200, - you pay no shipping costs.
I have placed an order, but have not yet received an order confirmation.
After you have completed the order, you will receive an order confirmation by email within minutes. If you have not received an order confirmation after a few minutes, please check your spam box first. If you do not find a confirmation email from us there either, please contact us by phone +31164-315599.
Until what time can I order?
You can place an order with us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you place an order before 4 p.m. on working days, we will do our utmost to deliver it to you the next day (subject to delays at PostNL).
Where can I find the discount codes for WhiskyXL?
WhiskyXL occasionally offers discount codes via promotions on FaceBook, Instagram, by email or via the Newsletter. In order not to miss a single discount code, it is highly recommended to subscribe to our Newsletter and / or become a member of our social media channels!
Can I order from WhiskyXL as a company?
WhiskyXL is a webshop aimed at the consumer, so you as a company cannot order from us without VAT. As a company in the Netherlands you can enter your company name and VAT number in your account so that you can reclaim the VAT.
Is there an extra discount if I order products in larger quantities or place significant orders?
Unfortunately, extra discounts are not possible. We work with attractive and fixed low prices, regardless of the numbers or size of your order.
Are the prices inclusive or exclusive of VAT?
All prices on our website include VAT and exclude any shipping costs.
What action can I take if I cannot find an item in the webshop?
If you cannot find a desired item, we will ask you for an e-mail to email@example.com with a clear indication of the article you are looking for. We do our utmost to inform you about all possibilities.
What does the status “single pieces for sale” mean?
This means that we only have a few bottles available, which can for instance be the case with limited releases or numbered bottles. It is also possible that the item will be sold out during your order. In this case, the item will only be offered in the shop once.
Why can I sometimes only order a limited number of an item?
There are several reasons for this option. If the stock of a sought-after item is so low that the item in question will sell out quickly, the purchase will be limited to avoid disappointing other buyers. In addition, we offer certain products that are extremely difficult to obtain or that are produced and issued in a limited way. In order to be able to serve as many customers as possible, an occasional choice can be made to provide a maximum of 1 bottle per customer for sale when ordering such an article. If you want to know the exact reason for a limit for a particular product, you can always contact us at the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
What action is taken if an article is no longer available?
We only offer on the site those items that are actually in stock in our warehouse. However, it can sometimes happen that during your order the stock turns out to be / become insufficient. In that case, we will contact you and offer a suitable solution in consultation with you.
Are the bottles supplied with original packaging, such as cartridges and / or gift packaging?
WhiskyXL always delivers the products in the original packaging as we receive it from our suppliers. On the page of an article - if present - a picture of the packaging or gift box is also shown. If the bottle has no packaging, you will only see the bottle. If you have any doubts about the packaging, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
Can articles also be delivered outside the Netherlands?
WhiskyXL currently only delivers within the Netherlands. In the future we want to expand our sales area with Belgium and Germany.
Who delivers my order?
All WhiskyXL orders are currently delivered by PostNL. In principle, all orders placed on working days before 4 pm will be delivered to you the following day. Orders placed on Saturday before 3 pm are delivered on Monday, after 3 pm you can expect delivery on the following Tuesday. In case of large crowds or emergencies at PostNL, we unfortunately cannot guarantee this “next day delivery” 100%.
How does the delivery process go after my order?
You will receive a link from us by e-mail, with which you can track your order and expected delivery. On the day of delivery, the status of your shipment will be adjusted during the day. Ultimately you will see the period within which the PostNL driver will deliver your order. If you have chosen a PostNL collection point, you will receive a message stating the time from which your order can be collected, in most cases after 3 p.m. Did you order and pay before 4 p.m. on working days? Then your package will leave our warehouse the same day.
What happens if I am not at home?
If you are not at home when the order is delivered, the postman will leave the package at the nearest PostNL location. You will receive a message about this and in most cases you can pick up your order here after 3 p.m.
Are shipping costs calculated?
For orders with an order amount below € 200, we charge € 6.95 shipping costs. Orders over € 200 are shipped for free. Any actions regarding, for example, “free shipping for all items” will be announced via our social media channels.
Can I also collect my order?
Since WhiskyXL does not have a physical retail space, it is not possible to pick up your order. How can I contact WhiskyXL? If you have any questions about your order, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating the relevant order number. You can expect a response from us within 24 hours on working days.
What can I do if my order is damaged in transit?
If you find breakage upon receipt of the order, we request that you refuse delivery. The package deliverer will then return the package to WhiskyXL. Once we have received the order back, we will contact you about any options such as supplying replacement products or a refund.
My order is not complete, what can I do?
You can contact our customer service. This can be done by telephone number or by email email@example.com. We will then provide an appropriate solution as soon as possible.
Can I return my order?
As a consumer, you have the right to return the order to WhiskyXL in whole or in part, within 14 days. After receiving the order, you must first inform us of your intended return shipment by firstname.lastname@example.org, stating your order number. After registration, we will process your return and you can actually return the product, as previously indicated within the period of 14 days after delivery of the product.
How does the return process of a product work?
We will send you an email with a link to download the return label. You can print this and paste it on the package (note that the label of the forwarding is no longer legible). You can then offer the return shipment at a PostNL location. The aforementioned e-mail also contains a link with which you can find the nearest PostNL location where the package can be returned. If the PostNL driver delivers a different package to you, it is also possible to provide this return shipment with a valid return label to the PostNL driver.
What are the costs for a return shipment?
When (partially) returning your order due to an own error in product choice or quantity, we will charge you the return costs of € 5.95 per box. In case of an incorrectly delivered product by WhiskyXL, of course, no costs will be charged.
How should I package a return?
If you still have access to this, we ask you to return the products to us in the original shipping box / packaging. When using another box, we urge you to use sufficient padding material to avoid breakage. In both cases, we request that you send a copy of the delivery note / invoice in the packaging.
Within what period of time will my returned product (s) be credited?
Refund of the full order amount, including the shipping costs of the return shipment, will in principle take place within 14 days after receipt of your return shipment. We wait with a refund until we have received the goods back or you have demonstrated the return by means of a track and trace code. We use the same payment method for the refund as you used to perform the original transaction.
I have a complaint, where can I report this?
Our customer service is the point of contact for your complaints. We request you to contact us by e-mail email@example.com. We do our utmost to find a suitable solution together with you. If we have not resolved your complaint satisfactorily, you can always submit a complaint to the Home Shopping Disputes Committee via the following link: degeschillencommissie.nl.
Do I have a warranty on my products?
The legal warranty applies to every WhiskyXL product. A legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. If you believe that your received products do not comply with this, we ask you to contact our customer service preferably by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to discuss the options with you.
